About Project BGENERGY-2.003-0013 "Energy efficiency of the industrial process in "Sibon-mash" OOD"
"Sibon-mash" Ltd. is a beneficiary under Contract No. BGENERGY-2.003-0013-C01 for the implementation of the project "Energy efficiency of the industrial process in "Sibon-mash" Ltd.", financed under procedure No. BGENERGY-2.003 "Energy efficiency in industry" of the Program "Renewable energy, energy efficiency, energy security", with financial support of the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area 2014-2021.
The project envisages the implementation of measures aimed at increasing energy efficiency by improving and optimizing the technologies and production processes used in the enterprise. In this regard, the project includes activities to implement the energy-saving measures recommended in the latest, project management, awareness measures, project audit, exchange of experience and knowledge with a partner from the donor country. The project will be implemented in partnership with an organization from Norway - IDN Research, which has the necessary experience in the field of energy efficiency management.
The main goal of the project is: To increase the efficiency of the industrial process in the production of "Sibon-mash" OOD, by implementing energy efficiency measures in the company as a prerequisite for a sustainable reduction of energy consumption and increasing competitiveness.
Specific objectives of the project are:
Prepared energy efficiency survey report
Purchase of new equipment
Construction of a photovoltaic plant
Capture and reuse in the industrial process of waste heat
Energy consumption monitoring
Realized exchange of knowledge and good practices with the Norwegian partner
Increased managed and expert capacity in the field of energy efficiency
The objectives of the project are in full compliance with the main objective of the WEEEEE Program, which is aimed at reducing carbon intensity and increasing security of supply by: - Increasing energy production from RES; - Increasing expert capacity in the field of energy efficiency. The implementation of the project's objectives contributes to the achievement of the general objectives of the FMEIP, related to the reduction of economic and social differences in the EEA and the strengthening of bilateral relations between the donor countries and Bulgaria.
By achieving the above project objectives, it will also contribute to the overall objectives of the EEA FM:
- Reduction of economic and social differences in the EEA;
- Deepening of bilateral relations between donors Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein and beneficiary countries, among which is Bulgaria.
The target group that will directly benefit from the effect of achieving results are the owners and employees of the company. The positive impact of the achieved results will also have on all its partners and customers who use products produced through an industrial process whose energy efficiency is increased.
"Sibon-mash" Ltd. implements its project in partnership with an organization from the donor country - IDN Research - Trondheim, Norway.
The project implementation period is from 19.05.2023 to 30.04.2024.
The value of the project is BGN 298,600.00.
